Discussion Paper: Grains Levy Payers' Association

GRFL has released a discussion paper which considers a proposal for the establishment of a Grains Levy Payers' Association: a national grower representative body with a direct membership of all grains levy payers, which would deliver a robust mechanism for research and development advocacy and accountability. GRFL has raised this topic for discussion as GCA's recent announcement of its financial difficulties and likely closure presents a significant risk to the grains industry, especially in relation to GCA's legislated functions in the area of research and development.
